Junior Sales Representative

About the role

Our client is looking for an ambitious, self‑driven Junior Sales Representative to join their growing team in Kisumu. The role combines technical sales of industrial weighing equipment and sewing machines with customer relationship management, offering a clear path toward a future Sales Manager position.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate quotations and cost estimates for products and services.
• Identify new business opportunities and generate sales leads.
• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
• Conduct customer visits, follow up on enquiries and achieve sales targets.
• Coordinate field service engineers for installations, maintenance and repairs.
• Liaise with customers to ensure timely service delivery and satisfaction.
• Maintain sales records, customer information and activity reports.
• Collaborate with the technical team to provide appropriate product and service solutions.
• Represent the company professionally while promoting its products and services.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
• 3–5 years experience as a Sales Representative or in a similar commercial role.
• Experience selling technical or industrial products is an advantage.
• Additional training or certification in Calibration, Weights and Measures is a plus.
