Junior Technical Operator – Media Production

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Technical Operator to support a leading digital media agency in preparing and delivering film and TV content for global distribution. You will work with a variety of media formats, ensuring that each asset meets the technical specifications required for broadcast, streaming and cinema.

Key responsibilities

• Localise film content for worldwide release, including subtitles, dubbing and graphics.
• Encode and transcode media for broadcast, streaming platforms and DCP delivery.
• Deliver content according to film and TV technical specifications.
• Edit TV spots, social‑media clips and promotional material.
• Manage content transfers using digital asset management platforms.
• Perform frame‑rate conversions for international broadcast standards.
• Work on a rota schedule that may include early‑morning and late‑evening shifts to keep the department operational 24 hours.

Required profile

• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Familiarity with Clipster or Transkoder.
• Experience creating and packaging Digital Cinema Packages (DCPs).
• Solid understanding of digital video formats, technical specifications and encoding workflows.
• Basic knowledge of online and broadcast deliverables.
• Awareness of Adobe Media Encoder and Adobe Audition is a plus.
