Key Accounts Coordinator - Lubricants

About the role

The Key Accounts Coordinator drives growth in lubricants sales by developing and implementing effective sales strategies to meet set volume and margin targets. The role promotes, sells and distributes automotive and industrial lubricants to existing and potential customers within the assigned territory. It is a permanent, full-time position based in Mombasa.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, prospect and engage potential customers to expand the lubricants customer base.
• Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
• Analyse market trends, competitor activity and customer needs to find new business opportunities.
• Build strong relationships with distributors, garages, transport companies, industries and key accounts.
• Run promotional and marketing initiatives to raise brand visibility and product uptake.
• Give technical advice on lubricant selection, application and equipment compatibility, and run product training for customers and channel partners.
• Maintain accurate records of sales, customer interactions and orders.
• Follow up on outstanding debts in line with credit policies and ensure timely payment collection.
• Prepare regular sales reports, market intelligence reports and customer feedback.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards and industry regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 3-5 years of sales experience in the Oil & Gas industry, specifically lubricants or related petroleum products.
• Strong technical understanding of lubricants, including automotive and industrial applications.
