About the role
Maryjoy School is seeking a dedicated KISW/SCI/SST Teacher to join its teaching team in Westlands, Mombasa. The successful candidate will deliver curriculum-aligned lessons in Kiswahili, Science, and Social Studies, fostering a supportive learning environment for students.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons in KISW, SCI and SST.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Participate actively in co‑curricular and extracurricular activities.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with school reporting standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational programme.
Required profile
- Registered teacher with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).
- Minimum of 3 years teaching experience.
- Holder of a P1 Certificate or an upgraded Diploma in Education.
- CBE & CBC compliant.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Willingness to contribute to co‑curricular activities.
Required skills
- Knowledge of ICT (added advantage).
