Knowledge Management Consultant – Gender Equality (Remote, 12 months)

About the role

This 12‑month remote consultancy supports UNICEF’s Gender Equality Action Plan (UGEAP) 2026‑2029 by strengthening knowledge management on gender equality. The consultant will create, curate and share gender‑related knowledge products, facilitate exchange and capacity‑building, and enhance the visibility and use of tools, evidence and best practices across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and disseminate gender‑related knowledge products, including briefs, case studies and toolkits.
• Facilitate knowledge exchange through webinars, training sessions and communities of practice.
• Maintain and improve SharePoint/Teamsite repositories to ensure easy access to gender‑focused resources.
• Support mutual learning by promoting good practices and evidence across UNICEF units.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in knowledge management, digital collaboration platforms or communications, preferably within the UN or international development sector.
• Bachelor’s degree in Knowledge Management, Information Science, Communications, International Development or related field; advanced degree is an asset.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken); working knowledge of French and/or Spanish is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft 365 collaboration tools.
• Strong information architecture and content design capabilities.
• Experience organizing and delivering webinars or training sessions.
• Excellent written communication skills.
