Korean Bilingual Quality Engineer – Product Liability & Failure Analysis

About the role

We are looking for a Korean‑English bilingual Quality Engineer to perform daily failure analysis of mobile devices linked to product liability and safety claims. The role involves using advanced analytical equipment such as X‑Ray, CT scanners and digital microscopes to diagnose defects and support product improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily failure analysis of mobile device cases using X‑Ray/CT, digital microscopes and overheating test equipment.
• Generate detailed technical reports for R&D and collaborate with engineering teams to enhance next‑generation repair productivity.
• Investigate user environments that may cause defects and communicate findings to management and product management.
• Apply electronics testing technologies (SEM, EDS) and perform on‑site and laboratory inspections.
• Share troubleshooting, diagnostics and repair techniques with technician teams to improve product performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• Korean‑English bilingual proficiency.
• Entry‑level experience (up to 3 years), preferably in the mobile industry.
• Strong project‑management abilities and ability to prioritize in a complex environment.

Required skills

• Operation of X‑Ray, CT, Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) and Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDS) equipment.
• Use of digital microscopes and spectrum analyzers.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) on Windows.
