Lab Technician

About the role

Baker Hughes is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support the design and development of products that interact with the human body. You will work in a collaborative environment, applying scientific research and performing routine analyses to help drive innovation in the energy sector.

Key responsibilities

• Execute routine laboratory analyses using established methods and technologies.
• Apply scientific research to support product development.
• Identify and resolve technical problems based on precedent and expertise.
• Coordinate with business‑unit colleagues to plan activities and provide technical explanations.
• Communicate progress and results to the direct team and supervisor, presenting metrics and project status.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
• Experience in engineering or technology roles.
• Previous work in a laboratory setting.
• Relevant experience in the oil and gas, energy, or power industry.
