Labeller Operator

About the role

Q-Sourcing, a manpower management firm operating across East Africa, is recruiting a skilled and experienced Labeller Operator on behalf of its client, to work in Thika, Kenya. The operator stays continuously at the assigned machine or equipment and helps keep the production flow uninterrupted while keeping accurate records of machine performance and daily maintenance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor machine or equipment performance and record output on an hourly basis
• Take part in daily autonomous machine maintenance before each shift
• Update the assigned machine log sheets every hour
• Report any machine breakdown to the immediate supervisor
• Join machine breakdown analysis sessions led by the line shift team leader or line technician
• Follow all safety regulations for a safe working environment
• Work with the quality team to ensure quality products and report any non-conformances

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing industries
• 3 years of experience in a beverage production environment is an added advantage
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with food safety and quality control systems
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
