Leave Management Specialist (Remote, Kenya)

About the role

Solvo Global is seeking a Leave Management Specialist to support a client with end‑to‑end administration of employee leave. This remote position, based in Kenya, is ideal for an organized HR professional who can guide employees and leaders through complex leave processes with clarity and empathy.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of employee leave cases, from intake through return‑to‑work.
• Administer programs including FMLA, ADA accommodations, short‑term disability, and workers’ compensation.
• Serve as the primary contact for employees, supervisors, and client leadership on leave‑related matters.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company requirements.
• Coordinate with insurance carriers, medical providers, and HR teams to maintain seamless communication.
• Provide trusted guidance to clients on best practices in leave management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in leave management, employee relations, or benefits administration.
• Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, disability coordination, and workers’ compensation.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive matters with professionalism and discretion.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, client‑service environment.
