About the role
Mount Kenya University (MKU) is a chartered, ISO‑9001:2015 certified institution with campuses across Kenya and regional ODEL centres. The university seeks a qualified academic to join its Kiambu campus as a Lecturer in Journalism & Mass Communication. The successful candidate will contribute to the university’s mission of delivering holistic, inclusive education and will be part of a dynamic faculty that collaborates with internationally reputable partners.
Required profile
- PhD in Journalism & Mass Communication or an equivalent qualification from a recognized academic institution.
- Master’s degree in Journalism & Mass Communication or an equivalent qualification.
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism & Mass Communication or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of three years of teaching experience at a recognized higher‑learning institution.
- Registration with the relevant professional body where applicable.
