About the role
The Technical University of Mombasa is seeking a qualified Lecturer in Sociology to teach and supervise students at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Key responsibilities
- Teach and assess Sociology courses for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
- Supervise undergraduate projects, experiential learning programmes, and postgraduate dissertations/theses.
- Participate in the development and review of undergraduate and postgraduate curricula.
- Initiate, promote, and engage in research projects and present findings at academic conferences, seminars, and workshops.
- Provide professional and community services, develop linkages, and mobilise funding.
Required profile
- Earned PhD or equivalent Doctoral Degree in Sociology from an accredited university.
- Registered or registerable with the relevant professional body.
- Evidence of computer literacy.
