Legal Expert – Remote (Part‑Time)

About the role

We are seeking a part‑time Legal Expert to support a global technology leader in the gig‑economy space. Working remotely, you will help ensure the platform’s policies and operations comply with local and international laws.

Key responsibilities

• Review, draft, and update terms of service, privacy policies, and user agreements for legal compliance.
• Identify and advise on legal risks related to micro‑tasking, data privacy, and labor regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
• Assess cross‑border transaction issues and intellectual‑property disputes, proposing mitigation strategies.
• Provide legal support for user disputes and platform‑related inquiries.
• Monitor evolving regulations affecting gig‑economy platforms and recommend necessary adjustments.

Required profile

• Proven experience in contract review and drafting for digital platforms.
• Strong knowledge of data‑privacy frameworks such as GDPR or CCPA.
• Familiarity with labor laws in several countries and ability to interpret cross‑border legal issues.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities in a legal context.
• Effective communication skills to convey complex legal concepts to non‑legal stakeholders.
