About the role
The Kenya Association of Manufacturers is seeking a motivated Legal Intern to support its legal and policy team in Nairobi. This role offers exposure to regulatory, policy and corporate legal work within a leading industry association.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and analysis on manufacturing‑related regulations.
- Assist in drafting, reviewing and preparing contracts and legal documents.
- Provide basic legal counseling to internal stakeholders under supervision.
- Coordinate with the policy team to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
Required profile
- Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from a recognised institution.
- Completion of the Kenya School of Law programme (awaiting admission to the Bar) or recent admission as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya.
- Prior internship or attachment experience in a legal, regulatory, policy or corporate environment is an advantage.
