Life Enrichment Director

About the role

The Life Enrichment Director will design and lead programs that enrich the daily lives of residents at Claiborne Senior Living. This leadership position focuses on creating meaningful connections, engagement, and experiences that support physical, emotional, social, and intellectual well‑being.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive life enrichment strategy aligned with resident interests and abilities.
• Lead, mentor, and schedule life enrichment associates.
• Plan and facilitate activities, events, outings, and community partnerships.
• Track participation, satisfaction, and engagement outcomes.
• Manage department budget and resources responsibly.
• Ensure programs comply with state regulations and company standards.
• Partner with families to encourage involvement and connection.
• Promote a person‑centered approach to engagement and maintain accurate documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Gerontology, Recreational Therapy, or a related field (preferred).
• 2+ years of leadership experience in senior living or healthcare.
• Proven ability to design and implement engaging programming.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software systems.
