About the role

The Local Receptionist will be the first point of contact for customers entering the Quickmart supermarket in Nairobi. This on‑site role involves managing the front desk, greeting visitors, handling phone calls and providing general administrative support in a fast‑paced retail environment.

Key responsibilities

Greet and direct customers and visitors to appropriate departments.
Answer and route incoming telephone calls, taking messages as needed.
Manage the reception area, ensuring it is tidy and stocked with necessary supplies.
Process basic paperwork, such as deliveries, invoices and visitor logs.
Provide timely information and assistance to shoppers, supporting overall customer service standards.

Required profile

Kenyan citizen, aged 18 or older, with a valid National ID.
Minimum education of a high school diploma or equivalent certificate.
Proven ability in customer service and strong communication skills.
Disciplined, reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team.
