Logistics Officer – eMobility (Nairobi)

About the role

The Logistics Officer – eMobility will ensure smooth movement of M‑KOPA’s mobility assets across Kenya. You will coordinate vehicle deliveries, inter‑branch transfers and fleet records while supporting compliance and cost‑efficient distribution.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound movement of vehicles and mobility assets between OEMs, warehouses, dealers and retail outlets, including number‑plate transfers and reconciliations.
• Execute delivery schedules, inter‑branch transfers and asset returns, focusing on timeliness and cost efficiency.
• Oversee corporate taxi services, airport transfers, car‑hire arrangements and related vendor payments.
• Track and reconcile daily stock movements; support monthly stock‑take and reconciliation processes.
• Monitor corporate cab and staff transport usage; assist with fleet maintenance coordination, swap reconciliations and vehicle availability tracking.
• Report accidents, incidents or breakdowns promptly and follow up to maintain fleet uptime.
• Liaise with Sales, Customer Experience, Retail Operations, Finance and technical teams to ensure timely fulfilment and communicate any delays, damages or incidents.
• Prepare and submit logistics documentation such as delivery notes, waybills, fuel records, repair documents and expense support.
• Ensure all logistics activities comply with transport, fleet and safety policies, verifying valid licences, insurance and statutory documents for drivers, riders and vehicles.
• Support incident reporting, audits and compliance reviews by maintaining accurate records.

Required profile

• A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2–3 years of experience in logistics, distribution or transport operations.
• Strong attention to accuracy and ability to work across multiple teams and locations.
