Machine Operator – Coffee Processing

About the role

Operates and maintains coffee processing machines and equipment, ensuring smooth production flow. Reports directly to the Plant Supervisor.

Key responsibilities

• Perform pre‑operation checks, autonomous maintenance, and set up machinery and materials for processing.
• Control and adjust machine settings to follow processing instructions and coordinate with production clerks for timely product movement.
• Maintain processing logs, supervise coffee movement, and verify product accuracy in weight, grade and outturn.
• Monitor equipment performance, test machines periodically, and follow plant operating procedures and safety rules.

Required profile

• Knowledge of food and coffee processing machinery.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Good work ethics, team spirit and self‑initiative.

Required skills

• Experience with coffee processing machinery, including Buhler machines.
• Proficiency in computer applications and report writing.
