Major Account Manager – BFSI (Kenya)

About the role

As a Major Account Manager for the BFSI sector, you will be based in Nairobi and responsible for growing Fortinet’s business with both new and existing customers across Kenya. You will leverage your network and industry knowledge to identify opportunities, develop account plans and act as the primary liaison between the client and Fortinet’s internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain executive‑level relationships with BFSI customers to understand their business imperatives and IT drivers.
• Develop and execute strategic account plans, including tender opportunities and quarterly business reviews.
• Sell Fortinet’s cyber‑security and networking solutions using a consultative approach.
• Coordinate with system engineers, channel partners, specialist sales teams and executives to deliver integrated solutions.
• Keep customers informed of product road‑maps and help them mitigate risk through proactive planning.

Required profile

• Proven enterprise sales track record in the hi‑tech industry, preferably cyber‑security or networking.
• Experience selling to the BFSI sector.
• Highly motivated self‑starter with a competitive mindset and strong attention to detail.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
