Management and Program Analyst

About the role

The Management and Program Analyst supports the Office of Enterprise Data and Analytics (OEDA) within the Wage and Hour Division (WHD) of the U.S. Department of Labor. The role involves strategic planning, program oversight, and coordination across multiple offices and senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Develop strategic plans and objectives for OEDA programs and collaborate with the Division of Strategic Planning and Performance (DSPP) on operational planning.
• Lead integrated project teams and working groups across WHD, addressing workload spikes and providing advisory recommendations.
• Serve as liaison to Office of Congressional and Intergovernmental Affairs, Office of Public Affairs, Office of the Secretary, and other key offices.
• Draft and edit detailed reports, research summaries, and policy recommendations for senior management and external stakeholders.
• Represent WHD in meetings, conferences, and task forces to align program goals with enterprise data and analytics initiatives.
• Analyze, prioritize, and monitor multiple software/database systems supporting the Wage Determination Surveys portfolio.

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain required security clearance.
• At least 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to the GS‑13 grade level in the Federal Service.
• Experience working with senior staff, senior administrators, and regional directors on program planning and policy implementation.
