Manager, Risk Management - AI

About the role

The Manager, Risk Management – AI will support and strengthen the bank’s control environment for AI‑amplified risks across multiple risk domains. Based in India or Malaysia, the role works within the Technology and Operations division and partners with first‑line owners, central AI governance teams, and risk stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Support AI‑amplified risk discovery, baseline assessments, control gap analysis and uplift tracking.
• Maintain and coordinate trackers, issue and action logs, evidence repositories and management information for AI risk activities.
• Prepare governance materials, committee reports and audit, assurance, regulatory and RFI responses.
• Assist domain teams in documenting AI‑related risk impacts, controls, actions and dependencies.
• Support RCSA readiness, control testing and ongoing monitoring of AI risk controls.
• Drive embedding of sustainable AI risk management practices into business‑as‑usual processes.

Required profile

• Experience in risk management, preferably within a banking or financial services environment.
• Understanding of AI technologies and how they amplify existing risk domains such as technology, cyber, data privacy, compliance, operational and third‑party risk.
• Strong coordination and stakeholder‑management skills across risk, technology and operations functions.
• Ability to translate AI‑related control requirements into practical operating processes.
