Manager, Scored Lending

About the role

The Manager, Scored Lending will lead the execution and scaling of scored lending initiatives across Personal and Private Banking. You will drive utilization, optimise decision strategies and enhance digital lending journeys while expanding credit access for new‑to‑bank and underserved customers.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end delivery of scored lending programmes, ensuring alignment with growth targets and risk discipline.
• Develop and refine credit rules, scorecards and decision‑making frameworks.
• Leverage data and insights to optimise portfolio performance and identify growth opportunities.
• Design and improve lending products and customer journeys based on behaviour and portfolio trends.
• Collaborate with risk, data and technology teams to embed lending strategies into decisioning systems.
• Manage strategic partnerships and ecosystem collaborations to accelerate customer acquisition.

Required profile

• First‑degree in Business, Commerce, Finance or a related field.
• 5‑7 years of experience developing scored lending strategies, credit rules and scorecards.
• Strong analytical capability with a proven track record of using data to support credit decisions and portfolio optimisation.
• Experience designing lending products and digital customer journeys.
• Demonstrated ability to work cross‑functionally with risk, data and technology teams.
