Marketing and Events Manager

About the role

DIB Bank Kenya Limited, a fully owned subsidiary of Dubai Islamic Bank PJSC, is recruiting a Marketing and Events Manager in Nairobi. The role builds, protects and activates the DIB Kenya brand, driving the integrated marketing strategy behind deposit mobilization, corporate banking, trade finance and community engagement so that the bank's Islamic banking proposition is understood and valued by retail consumers, corporate clients and the wider business community.

Key responsibilities

• Brand management: own and enforce the brand identity system, run annual brand health assessments, maintain brand guidelines and oversee branch, ATM, uniform and office branding.
• Marketing strategy: develop the annual Integrated Marketing Plan with campaigns, channels, budgets and KPIs, and carry out market research, consumer insights and competitive intelligence.
• Campaigns: design and run integrated campaigns across above-the-line, below-the-line and digital channels, including seasonal and Islamic calendar campaigns, and manage localisation of group campaigns.
• Digital marketing: oversee website, social media, email, SEO and paid advertising, manage relationships with Meta, LinkedIn, Google and TikTok, and lead marketing automation such as CRM-linked email journeys.
• Events and sponsorships: manage the annual events calendar, end-to-end event production, and negotiate and evaluate sponsorship deals.
• Budget and procurement: manage the annual marketing budget, track monthly spend and handle procurement and vendor management.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience.
• An agile and experienced professional able to turn strategic priorities into channel-appropriate marketing programmes.
