Marketing Executive - Motorcycle Spare Parts

About the role

Brites Management Services is hiring a full-time Marketing Executive for its motorcycle spare parts business, based on Kirinyaga Road. The role combines sales and business development, territory management and brand promotion, with a stated salary of KSh 40,000.

Key responsibilities

• Sales and business development: promote motorcycle spare parts to distributors, wholesalers, retailers, garages, workshops and fleets; identify new business opportunities; build relationships with existing customers; negotiate sales agreements and achieve monthly, quarterly and annual targets.
• Marketing and brand promotion: run product demonstrations, customer activations and promotional campaigns; represent the company at trade exhibitions, dealer events, roadshows and industry forums; gather market intelligence and recommend new marketing initiatives.
• Customer relationship management: provide pre-, during- and after-sales service, handle enquiries and complaints, follow up quotations, orders, deliveries and payments, and keep accurate customer records.
• Territory management: travel across Kenya to support the distribution network, recruit new distributors, dealers and stockists, monitor product availability and support distributors and retailers.
• Reporting and administration: prepare daily, weekly and monthly sales and marketing reports, track performance against targets and work with internal departments on timely order fulfilment.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 3 years of sales and marketing experience in the motorcycle spare parts industry.
• Experience selling to distributors, wholesalers, retailers, garages and workshops.
• Knowledge of the Kenyan motorcycle spare parts market and distribution channels.
• Valid driving licence or riding experience is an added advantage.
