Marketing & Growth Lead
Enko Education · Nairobi
Job description
About the role
KISC, part of Enko Education, is looking for an entrepreneurial, hands-on Marketing & Growth Lead to help shape the growth of its schools in Kenya. The role sits at the intersection of business development, growth strategy, marketing and education, and aims to attract and retain families, strengthen market positioning and drive sustainable enrollment growth. It suits someone with strong potential, commercial instincts and a builder's mindset, rather than someone who has spent years managing large teams.
Key responsibilities
- Structure and strengthen the Marketing & Admissions function across the school network, working with School Partner Central, Heads of School and campus teams.
- Drive enrollment and business growth: develop campus-level growth plans, identify new opportunities to attract families and strengthen retention, and build lead-generation initiatives such as partnerships, referral programmes, events and community outreach.
- Monitor the admissions funnel, identify conversion gaps and act on them; contribute to fee-setting recommendations through market research and competitor benchmarking.
- Design and implement marketing and admissions processes, introduce tools, routines and performance indicators, and strengthen the use of CRM tools and data.
- Coordinate local campaigns, digital initiatives, open days and recruitment events, and coordinate Marketing Officers and campus admissions teams.
- Work with Heads of School and external partners to raise school visibility and brand positioning, and deliver a consistent experience for families.
Required profile
- Ideally 4 years of relevant experience in business development, growth, project management, marketing, commercial operations or a related field.
- A Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Management or another relevant discipline.
- Track record of owning projects and delivering measurable results; able to manage multiple priorities and work autonomously.
- Backgrounds such as business development, growth, project management, consulting, education or a fast-growing organisation are welcome.
Required skills
- Strong English communication skills.
- Analytical mindset and use of data to track performance.
- CRM tools, digital marketing and performance tracking (a plus).
- Nice to have: knowledge of the Kenyan or East African market, experience in startups or education/admissions, and international or multicultural exposure.
