Marketing Officer – eMobility

About the role

We are seeking a Marketing Officer to bring the M‑KOPA Mobility brand to life across digital and on‑ground channels as we expand our eMobility division in Kenya. You will own end‑to‑end campaign execution, create engaging content, and directly contribute to the growth of one of Africa’s most dynamic mobility businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and monitor digital and field campaigns, from briefing creatives to scheduling posts and reporting performance.
• Write copy and coordinate visuals for social media, email, SMS, WhatsApp and sales collateral.
• Organise product demos, trade shows, community events and other field activations.
• Track campaign metrics, analyse market insights and feed them into strategy.
• Conduct competitor research and maintain regular reporting cadence.
• Manage marketing spend across channels to maximise ROI.
• Maintain records of POSM and branded merchandise.
• Collaborate with sales on lead generation and support partner marketing initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field.
• 2–3 years of hands‑on marketing experience.
• Fluent in English (Swahili a plus) and comfortable taking initiative.
• Strong curiosity about mobility, fintech or clean energy in Africa.
