Marketing & Social Media Assistant

About the role

The Marketing & Social Media Assistant will support Astorian Grand Hotel’s overall marketing strategy by creating digital content, managing social channels and driving field‑based business development. This role blends online engagement with on‑site promotion to increase brand visibility and generate corporate leads.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and update all hotel social media platforms, producing photos, videos, graphics and copy; schedule posts and run campaigns to boost awareness.
• Respond promptly to online enquiries, comments, messages and reviews, and keep the website and promotional information current.
• Track and report on social media and digital marketing performance, providing insights for optimisation.
• Conduct regular field visits to businesses, institutions and potential clients to promote accommodation, conference, event and dining services.
• Identify and pursue new corporate partnership opportunities, follow up on leads and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
• Support planning and execution of hotel marketing campaigns, ensuring activities align with occupancy and revenue targets.
• Maintain accurate records of field visits, leads and marketing activities, and contribute creative ideas to enhance visibility.

Required profile

• Mid‑level marketing experience (minimum 12 months), preferably within the hospitality sector.
• Strong written communication skills and ability to create engaging visual content.
• Proactive attitude with a focus on achieving business development targets.
