Material Controller – Production & Data Management

About the role

The Material Controller will support the packaging workshop by managing attendance records, material requisitions, and production data. This full‑time position ensures accurate documentation and smooth flow of materials to meet manufacturing targets.

Key responsibilities

• Track and report attendance statistics for permanent and temporary workshop staff, highlighting any anomalies.
• Maintain workshop documentation, calculate and submit material requisitions to supervisors for production needs.
• Collect, monitor and analyse production data to improve operational efficiency.
• Communicate company‑wide and workshop‑specific regulations, notices and standards to relevant personnel.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience as a production statistician or in a similar manufacturing administration role.
• Strong attention to detail, highly organized and able to work in a fast‑paced workshop environment.
• Patience and ability to handle repetitive data‑driven tasks.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word for documentation.
• Ability to operate standard office equipment such as printers and thermal laminating machines.
