Mathematics/Physics Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Mathematics and Physics teacher to deliver A‑Level instruction at MM - MV Shah Academy in Westlands, Mombasa. The successful candidate will work within the Cambridge International framework, preparing students for rigorous examinations and fostering a deep understanding of scientific concepts.

Key responsibilities

• Teach Mathematics and Physics to A‑Level students following the Cambridge curriculum.
• Develop and deliver lesson plans that align with Cambridge International standards.
• Assess student performance through assignments, tests, and examinations, providing constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to enhance the overall learning environment.

Required profile

• Registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) in Kenya.
• Ability to teach A‑Level Mathematics and Physics.
• Strong knowledge of Cambridge International Education.
• Proven experience planning, implementing, and assessing learning within the Cambridge framework.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the Cambridge International curriculum for Mathematics and Physics.
• Experience designing assessments and evaluating student outcomes.
