About the role
Maryjoy School is seeking a qualified Maths/BST Teacher to join its teaching team in Westlands, Mombasa. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the mathematics and Basic Science & Technology curriculum to students, ensuring alignment with national standards.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging mathematics lessons in line with the school curriculum.
- Teach Basic Science & Technology (BST) topics, integrating practical activities where possible.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Participate in co‑curricular activities and school events.
Required profile
- Registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).
- Minimum of 3 years teaching experience.
- Holder of a P1 Certificate or an Upgraded Diploma in Education.
- Compliance with the Competency-Based Education (CBE) and the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC).
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
Required skills
- ICT knowledge (added advantage).
