Mechanical Sales Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Sales Engineer to join our sales team in Nairobi. The successful candidate will promote Flowitec’s range of pumps, valves, motors and other industrial equipment to customers across East Africa, driving business growth and building lasting relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities for Flowitec’s mechanical products in the East African market.
• Present technical specifications and benefits of pumps, valves and motors to industrial clients.
• Maintain and expand existing client relationships within the industrial sector.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and follow‑up on sales cycles from initial contact to contract signing.
• Collaborate with engineering and service teams to ensure customer requirements are met.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven experience in selling industrial equipment.
• Strong technical understanding of pumps, valves and motors.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities in English and Swahili.
• Existing network of contacts in the industrial sector is preferred.
