Member of Technical Staff – Frontier AI (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Member of Technical Staff to join a leading AI team working on frontier‑level models and systems. This full‑time remote position focuses on advancing state‑of‑the‑art AI capabilities through research, development, and production integration.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimise next‑generation AI architectures and algorithms.
• Lead research projects aimed at improving model efficiency, scalability and performance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to bring AI solutions into production environments.
• Publish technical reports, whitepapers, and conference submissions.
• Evaluate and benchmark emerging AI models, frameworks, and hardware accelerators.

Required profile

• PhD in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
• Proven ability to conduct independent research and drive complex technical projects.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills for large‑scale AI systems.
• Effective communication of technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Required skills

• Proficiency with deep‑learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Experience in large‑scale distributed training and model optimisation techniques.
• Knowledge of AI hardware and accelerator architectures (GPUs, TPUs).
• Familiarity with reinforcement learning, generative models, and multi‑modal AI systems.
