Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant

About the role

An experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant is sought to support the implementation, configuration and optimisation of Dynamics 365 Finance solutions. The consultant works closely with clients and technical teams to turn business requirements into functional solutions that fit business processes and financial objectives. The position is remote, with willingness to work in Dubai/UAE business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business requirements for finance and accounting processes
• Run workshops with stakeholders to understand workflows, challenges and requirements
• Configure and implement D365 Finance modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash and Bank Management, Fixed Assets, Budgeting and Financial Reporting
• Prepare functional design documents, business process flows, configuration documentation and user guides
• Work with technical consultants on enhancements, integrations and customisations
• Support SIT and UAT, data migration, reconciliation and validation, and resolve functional issues
• Deliver end-user training, knowledge transfer and post-implementation support
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls and financial regulations
• Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business Administration or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience as a D365 Finance Functional Consultant or in a similar ERP functional consulting role
• Hands-on experience implementing, configuring or supporting D365 Finance
• Strong understanding of financial and accounting processes
• Experience in requirements gathering, functional design, configuration, testing and implementation support
• Preferred: D365 Finance certification, full-cycle ERP implementation experience, and knowledge of Power Platform, Power BI and integrations
