Mortgage Performance Analyst

About the role

Support the Director of Mortgage in driving growth, profitability and operational risk management for the mortgage business. The role involves preparing, developing and analysing financial data, budgets and providing high‑quality support to line managers.

Key responsibilities

• Provide timely, accurate reporting and analysis of division performance against historical, budgeted, forecasted and strategic targets.
• Extract, generate and maintain mortgage data from sources such as EDWH, T24, Tranzware, Mobireg portal, BPM and Credit Quest using SQL Oracle scripts.
• Conduct financial analysis including monthly balance‑sheet, income‑statement variance analysis and develop budgets, forecasts and strategic plans.
• Review monthly expenses, collaborate with Finance to adjust entries and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Ensure timely submission of quarterly reports to KMRC and other scheme administrators.
• Maintain productivity dashboards for mortgage relationship managers and other staff.
• Perform market and competitor analysis to benchmark mortgage products.
• Deliver regular performance analysis (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly) translating data into insights for non‑technical stakeholders.
• Validate data accuracy through quality checks and securely circulate business information.
• Support training needs, schedule sessions and help develop a mortgage academy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university (required).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in performance analysis, financial analysis and budget forecasting (required).
• Professional qualifications such as AKIB, CPA (K) or ACCA are advantageous.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills with ability to work with SQL/Oracle data extracts.
