MRP Officer

About the role

The MRP Officer will manage material requirements planning for our manufacturing operations, ensuring that raw materials, packaging, and MRO items are available to meet production schedules. This role works closely with procurement, production planning, and quality teams to maintain optimal inventory levels.

Key responsibilities

• Run daily MRP runs, review exception reports and raise purchase requisitions for raw materials, packaging and MRO items.
• Monitor stock movements, update system balances, and liaise with procurement to expedite critical deliveries.
• Support production planners with real‑time material availability checks and clip‑off decisions.
• Maintain master data such as BOMs, routings, lead times, scrap factors and pack sizes.
• Reconcile physical stock with system balances, prepare weekly material availability reports and validate supplier lead‑time performance.
• Assist in monthly procurement planning, month‑end inventory close, and new SKU introductions.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, supplier development and ERP implementation projects.

Required profile

• Mid‑level experience (minimum 24 months) in MRP or inventory planning.
• Strong understanding of supply chain processes in retail, fashion or FMCG environments.
• Ability to work on‑site full‑time and handle occasional weekend peaks.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems, specifically SAP MM/PP.
