Network Manager, Africa

About the role

The Grassroots Justice Network is seeking a Network Manager for Africa to strengthen its regional learning, collaboration and engagement. This one‑year fixed‑term role will work closely with network members and global partners to design and deliver learning opportunities that empower grassroots justice advocates across anglophone and francophone Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of the 2026‑27 Grassroots Justice Network Academy programmes for the Africa region.
• Partner with network members to develop a regional learning strategy that advances legal empowerment.
• Coordinate and organise global and regional courses, workshops, discussion forums and community paralegal incubators.
• Oversee the rollout of Academy offerings, ensuring alignment with Namati colleagues and regional partners.
• Facilitate cross‑regional exchanges, learning journeys and peer‑to‑peer reflection sessions.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in legal empowerment, community organising or related advocacy work.
• Proven ability to build partnerships and mobilise stakeholders across diverse cultural and linguistic contexts.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills, with a focus on peer learning and collective reflection.
• Fluency in English; French proficiency is an advantage.
