Network / Systems Administrator – Full‑time

About the role

Harvard Soft is looking for a qualified Network/Systems Administrator to join its IT team. The role involves managing Windows‑based servers, supporting Oracle and DB2 databases, and ensuring reliable network operations across multiple locations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain network infrastructure and Windows server environments.
• Administer Oracle databases (8i, 9i, 10g) and DB2 instances, including backup, recovery and performance tuning.
• Develop and maintain Unix/Linux shell scripts and PERL utilities for automation.
• Collaborate with developers to support multi‑tier web applications built with .NET, ASP, VB, C# and C++.
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot incidents and apply security patches.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience in network and systems administration.
• Immediate availability and ability to work full‑time.
