Officer, Card Operations

About the role

We are looking for an Officer, Card Operations to oversee the end‑to‑end card lifecycle, ensuring efficiency, accuracy and compliance with internal policies and Visa/Mastercard scheme requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage card issuance, transaction processing, clearing, settlement and reconciliation across the full card lifecycle.
• Maintain operational integrity and financial accuracy through timely reconciliation and effective exception handling.
• Oversee suspense account management and produce accurate operational reports.
• Ensure adherence to Visa and Mastercard scheme rules and internal control standards.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of professional experience, with at least two years hands‑on in card operations.
• Strong understanding of the card operations lifecycle (issuance, authorization, clearing, settlement).
• Knowledge of Visa and Mastercard scheme rules.
• Experience with reconciliation and suspense account management.
• Familiarity with card management systems and core banking platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
