Onboarding Specialist

About the role

Are you an organized client‑relations professional with experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or sales support? Our client is seeking a proactive Client Onboarding Specialist to guide partners and originators through the end‑to‑end sales and onboarding journey.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with partners and originators to manage leads and follow‑up activities.
• Participate in sales and discovery calls, document client needs, and coordinate next steps.
• Maintain accurate lead, CRM, engagement, and onboarding records.
• Collect and organize prospect documents and follow up on missing information.
• Prepare engagement letters and monitor them through execution.
• Complete new‑client setup, including Yellow Sheet, CCH Axcess jobs, client folders, and onboarding trackers.
• Establish billing in QuickBooks Online, CCH Axcess BFA, and Chase ACH.
• Schedule onboarding meetings and introduce the Onboarding Accountant.
• Identify incomplete, duplicate, or conflicting information and escalate issues when needed.

Required profile

• Experience in client relations, sales support, onboarding, account management, or professional services administration.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and follow‑through.
• Confidence working with business owners, partners, and accounting professionals.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, CRM systems, spreadsheets, and cloud‑based applications.
