Operations Associate – Fixed Term – Nairobi

About the role

The Operations Associate provides essential administrative support to the Programme Risk Management (PMR) team within UNICEF's Regional Services Division (ESAR) in Nairobi. The role also contributes to data collection, analysis and the use of specialised e‑platforms to strengthen partnership management and risk oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver day‑to‑day administrative assistance to the PMR team and the wider office.
• Collect, clean and analyse data to support programme implementation and risk management.
• Utilise UNICEF e‑platforms such as eTools, UNPP, InSight, Vision and RAM for reporting and monitoring.
• Support the development, management and monitoring of government and civil‑society partnerships at country‑office level.
• Assist in the preparation of documentation, presentations and analytical reports.

Required profile

• Experience in administrative support and data analysis within an international or development context.
• Ability to work collaboratively with programme and partnership teams.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with eTools, UNPP, InSight, Vision and RAM platforms.
• Data collection and analytical skills.
