Operations Manager – Manufacturing & Logistics

About the role

The Operations Manager will lead daily activities across manufacturing, warehousing and logistics to drive efficiency and meet business objectives. Reporting to senior management, you will ensure smooth coordination of inventory, fleet and asset management while maintaining cost control.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and oversee daily operational activities to ensure efficiency and productivity.
• Develop and implement operational policies, procedures and best practices.
• Monitor performance and recommend process improvements.
• Oversee warehouse functions including receiving, storage, stock movement and dispatch.
• Maintain accurate inventory through regular counts, reconciliations and controls.
• Manage logistics operations to ensure timely, cost‑effective distribution of goods.
• Supervise fleet scheduling, maintenance, fuel management and utilization.
• Prepare and manage operational budgets, monitor expenses and implement cost‑control measures.
• Produce performance and cost analysis reports for management.
• Lead, mentor and develop operations, warehouse and logistics staff, setting performance objectives and conducting reviews.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, legal requirements and quality standards.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in operations, warehouse or logistics management.
• Mid‑level professional with proven ability to lead teams and manage budgets.
