Organisational Development Specialist – Change Management

About the role

You will lead and support change initiatives across Light for the World’s multi‑country operations, helping leaders plan transitions, build stakeholder commitment and embed new ways of working. The position also contributes to the broader organisational development agenda, including performance frameworks, leadership development and capability building.

Key responsibilities

• Lead change management on strategic initiatives from scoping and stakeholder mapping to adoption and embedding.
• Develop change strategies, communication plans and engagement approaches tailored to diverse country contexts.
• Coach senior leaders and managers as change sponsors and champions.
• Identify resistance early, address it pragmatically and maintain momentum.
• Build Light for the World’s internal change capability over time.
• Own the global performance management framework, including goal‑setting, feedback cycles and annual reviews.
• Design and maintain competency frameworks for leadership and functional roles.
• Coordinate leadership development programmes and learning initiatives across regions.
• Support succession planning and talent pipelines.
• Use people data to track trends, measure impact and provide evidence‑based insights.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a change specialist in complex, cross‑cultural environments.
• Strong ability to influence senior leaders and drive organisational transformation.
• Excellent analytical mindset with a focus on evidence‑based decision making.
