OTC Sales Representative – Channel Development

About the role

We are seeking an OTC Sales Representative to grow our retail footprint for mobile phones and accessories across Eldoret and surrounding towns. The role focuses on channel development, partner onboarding, and achieving sales targets in a fast‑moving consumer market.

Key responsibilities

• Map and develop retail touch‑points (phone shops, kiosks, fuel stations, etc.) and recruit secondary distributors.
• Negotiate partnership agreements, manage pricing, credit terms and promotional support.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales volume and value targets, monitor inventory and drive slow‑moving stock through micro‑promotions.
• Conduct regular store visits, ensure proper branding, train dealer staff and execute field promotions.
• Collect receivables, manage credit risk and report any defaults promptly.
• Gather market intelligence on competitors, consumer preferences and channel risks, and report weekly via WhatsApp or CRM.

Required profile

• Entry‑level qualification with up to 24 months of sales experience in consumer electronics or telecoms.
• Willingness to travel extensively across Westlands, Eldoret and remote areas.
• Strong negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Ability to work independently, meet targets and handle cash/credit management.
