About the role
The Packaging Attendant will ensure poultry products are packaged, labelled and prepared for dispatch while upholding food safety and hygiene standards in a processing plant.
Key responsibilities
- Package poultry products according to specifications.
- Accurately label products and verify weights and quantities.
- Inspect packaging quality and report any damaged materials.
- Operate packaging equipment safely and maintain records.
- Monitor and replenish packaging material inventory.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations and follow food safety procedures.
- Support production teams and prepare products for dispatch.
- Comply with health and safety policies.
Required profile
- Minimum KCSE certificate.
- Food Handling Certificate.
- Physical fitness and ability to work in a team.
- High integrity, attention to detail and good communication.
Required skills
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Operation of packaging equipment.
- Food safety awareness.
