Part-time Graphic Designer for Digital Green's FarmerChat

About the role

Digital Green Foundation Kenya is seeking a part‑time Graphic Designer consultant to shape the visual identity of FarmerChat, its AI‑powered advisory platform for smallholder farmers. You will work closely with product and program teams to create engaging, culturally relevant designs that boost user onboarding and social media reach.

Key responsibilities

• Design high‑quality static and motion creatives for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, including posts, carousels, infographics, and story assets.
• Create AI‑generated reels, animations, and short‑form videos optimized for each platform and tailored to regional farming contexts.
• Develop campaign visuals and copy layouts for performance marketing on Meta, Google, and in‑app channels, ensuring alignment with click‑through and conversion goals.
• Design and adapt App Store and Play Store listings (icons, screenshots, banners) to improve install conversion rates.
• Collaborate with product teams to maintain visual consistency across UI elements, notifications, and in‑app tooltips.
• Localize visuals for audiences in India, Kenya, Ethiopia, Brazil, and Nigeria, reflecting local crops, attire, and environments.
• Partner with growth consultants and performance‑marketing teams to produce A/B creative variants and support MoEngage/Plotline campaigns.

Required profile

• 4–6 years of professional experience in graphic or marketing design.
• Proven ability to translate user insights and growth strategies into compelling visual assets.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating static and motion design for digital and social media.
• Experience working in cross‑functional, multicultural environments.
