Part Time Lecturer – Monetary Theory & Policy

About the role

Maseno University is seeking a part‑time lecturer to teach Monetary Theory and Policy within its Economics department. The successful candidate will join a vibrant academic community and contribute to the university’s mission of delivering high‑quality education.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and tutorials on Monetary Theory and Policy to undergraduate students.
• Design, administer, and grade assessments, ensuring academic standards are met.
• Prepare and update course materials, assignments, and reading lists.
• Participate in educational quality control and assurance activities.
• Engage in curriculum development and continuous improvement of teaching methods.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Economics (or a closely related field).
• Updated Curriculum Vitae, academic and professional certificates, and transcripts.
• Recent pay slip and three referees’ letters.
• For persons with disabilities, a valid NCPWD certificate.
