Part‑time Lecturer – Auditing Practice & Investigation

About the role

Maseno University seeks a qualified part‑time lecturer to deliver courses on Auditing Practice and Investigation. The successful candidate will join the Faculty of Business and Economics, contributing to the academic development of undergraduate students.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver lecture sessions, tutorials and practical workshops on auditing topics.
• Prepare and grade assignments, examinations and case‑study projects.
• Ensure compliance with the university’s quality assurance and educational testing standards.
• Participate in curriculum review and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a closely related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to teach at the tertiary level.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
