Part‑time Remote Peer Reviewer – Rehabilitation Medicine (PhD)

About the role

This is a long‑term, stable part‑time position that allows you to work remotely reviewing manuscripts in the field of Rehabilitation Medicine. The role is ideal for experienced researchers who wish to contribute to the scientific community while maintaining flexibility.

Key responsibilities

• Assess the novelty of submitted manuscripts and determine their contribution to the field.
• Evaluate study design, methodology, and reproducibility.
• Check literature reviews for completeness and relevance.
• Analyse results and conclusions for clarity and scientific soundness.
• Provide constructive, written feedback to authors.
• Recommend acceptance, revision, or rejection to the journal editor.

Required profile

• Doctorate (PhD) or equivalent advanced degree in a relevant discipline.
• At least five peer‑reviewed papers published in SCI/SSCI journals within the last three years.
• Strong understanding of research methodologies and ethical standards.
• Excellent analytical, critical‑thinking, and written communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
• Commitment to confidentiality and objectivity.
• Prior experience as a peer reviewer is highly desirable.
