Pattern Maker & Production Coordinator

About the role

The Pattern Maker and Production Coordinator is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Kitengela ward. You will develop and adjust patterns for a range of garment styles, oversee fittings and coordinate the production process from sample to final product. The role involves close collaboration with designers and tailors to ensure accurate pattern interpretation, quality standards and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and modify patterns for various apparel designs.
• Conduct fittings and make necessary adjustments to ensure proper garment construction.
• Coordinate production workflow from sample creation through final manufacturing.
• Collaborate with designers and tailors to translate design concepts into accurate patterns.
• Monitor quality standards and manage production timelines.
• Document production details, organize materials and support continuous improvement in efficiency and sustainability.

Required profile

• Strong skills in pattern design and pattern making for diverse garment types.
• Hands‑on experience with sewing and fitting.
• Proficiency in computer‑aided design (CAD) tools for pattern development.
• Attention to detail and a quality‑control mindset.
• Effective communication and coordination abilities.
• Experience in apparel production or fashion manufacturing; knowledge of sustainable fashion is a plus.
• Ability to work on‑site in Kitengela and manage multiple tasks within production schedules.
