Payroll Tax Associate

About the role

Oasis Outsourcing is hiring a Payroll Tax Associate in Nairobi, Kenya, working on site. The role involves supporting payroll tax operations for U.S.-based clients in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and compliance are key. Candidates should be detail-oriented and have experience in payroll, tax, accounting or finance.

Key responsibilities

• Process payroll tax payments and tax filings accurately and on time
• Prepare payroll tax reports, reconciliations and supporting documentation
• Investigate and resolve payroll tax discrepancies and issues
• Ensure compliance with payroll tax regulations and company policies
• Collaborate with U.S.-based clients and internal teams to support payroll operations

Required profile

• Minimum 6 months of experience in payroll, payroll tax, accounting, finance, reconciliations, auditing or financial operations
• Background in accounting, finance, business administration, economics, tax, payroll or a related field
• English level B2+ / C1
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Occasional Saturday availability during peak periods (fully compensated)
