Petroleum Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Petroleum Engineer to oversee oil and gas extraction projects both offshore and onshore. The successful candidate will design drilling plans, analyse geological data, and ensure smooth operation of extraction activities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and schedule drilling and fracturing operations.
• Supervise drilling and extraction activities on site.
• Research and evaluate new extraction methods and potential reservoirs.
• Analyse rock formations and reservoir characteristics.
• Utilise computer‑aided models to optimise drilling processes.
• Determine project budgets and resource requirements.
• Train and supervise technical staff.
• Collaborate with geoscientists and other engineers to interpret geological features.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and detail‑oriented mindset.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Willingness to travel regularly to various field locations.
• Proficiency with computer‑aided engineering software and solid mathematical skills.
